Troy Hodgson is visual artist based in Dubai. Originally studying architecture in the North of England, he has spent more than two decades exploring the representation of space, atmosphere and memory.

His work is driven by an interest in the traces places leave behind. Through photography, CGI and AI-assisted processes, he uses image-making as a form of reduction and abstraction, allowing digital tools to soften form and documentation in pursuit of feeling rather than fidelity. The resulting works sit somewhere between memory and observation, exploring how places are remembered rather than how they are seen.

Alongside his personal practice, Troy is the founder of Darcstudio, an internationally recognised architectural visualisation studio - with work has been exhibited in major architectural and design exhibitions worldwide, including the Museum of Modern Art (MoMA) and MoMA PS1 in New York, and the Victoria and Albert Museum and Royal Academy of Arts in London.
